The Reese Creek Properties sit less than 10 miles from the foothills of the Bridger Range at the North end of the Gallatin Valley. Just 16 miles from downtown Bozeman and 10 miles   from Gallatin Field Airport.  The Reese Creek Properties  offers privacy and seclusion yet affords the luxuries of nearby  civilization.

Let me explain this is an up coming project that is in the planning stages only.

By what I have put forth on this Web Site. this is only in the planning stages  and the information that is provided on this Web Page is only a projection of what the finish project will be.

Maintained county roads provide a safe and dependable commute from the property to the destination of your choice.

Interstate – 90 is just 11 miles away making travel outside the   valley, smooth and efficient

Thousand of additional acres are available, quite literally, “out your back door.” With the National Forest access a mere ten minute drive to the foothills of the Bridger Mountains.

AIRPORT       Gallatin field airport offers convenient commercial airline service   From Delta, Northwest, United and Horizon.

VIEWS:             “Big Sky” views from the Reese Creek Properties reveal 360 degree mountaintop vistas.  Nestled into the Bridger, scan clockwise across the Gallatin, Madison, Tobacco Root, Elkhorn,  and Horseshoe Ranges.

ELEVATION:   4480 above sea level

WILDLIFE:      The Reese Creek Properties in their entirety are unique and  Valuable wildlife habit the creek ways, rolling topography, rich grasslands, and a balance of crops, are the foundation of a self-sustaining ecosystem that many of the region’s premier wildlife species call “home.”  On a daily basis, both mule deer and the whitetail Deer are seen on their routine travels.  Not as obvious, but just  as prevalent, are the game birds, the pheasant and Hungarian Partridge that find security here.

The Reese Creek Properties, representative of a sound and    balanced ecosystem, is also home to the predator species.   watching the coyotes hunt and stalk is not an uncommon  opportunity and viewing the birds of prey, the hawks, and both golden and Bald Eagles, is a frequent pleasure.

The property is also extremely valuable as “winter range” to other  regional wildlife residents.  As snowfall builds in the Bridger Mountains, this foothill region becomes the destination of   migrating herds of deer and elk as their food source here is much more available.

AREA  RECREATION:   The Gallatin valley is embraced by mountains in literally every  direction.  This topography has shaped the character of the community within it.  Today, the Bozeman community is comprised of about 33,000 people with an additional 12,000  students at the Montana State University.

The culture is an interesting blend of ranchers, farmers, business owners, professionals, students, writers, artists and outdoor  enthusiasts.  Most importantly, the community is about  families who have chosen this valley for the “lifestyle” it  provides.

The ecosystem here is directly influenced by the great mountain ranges that encompass this valley.  These mountains trap the storm fronts, collect their precipitation, and funnel these waters into the creeks, streams, rivers and lakes.  The purity of the water’s source “as clean as the driven snow” is the very lifeblood of the valley below.  The lush grasslands are ideal for wildlife, cattle and horses.  The fertile soils yield rich and dependable crops.  And the fishing is truly “world class” with “blue ribbon trout streams and rivers in every direction.

The abundant waterways offer tremendous opportunities for water lovers of any kind.  The choices range from canoeing, kayaking, rafting, floating and boating to water skiing and even sailing on nearby lakes.

The mountains provide a lifetime of challenge and exploration.  Millions of acres of National Forest and Wilderness, accessed through innumerable public trailheads, provide endless adventure to suit your passion.  Hiking, biking, horseback riding, running, rock climbing, photography, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are a big part of this list.

Alpine skiing is readily available at 2 major regional ski areas.  Bridger Bowl, the local favorite, is a 45 minute drive from the property.  Big Sky Resort is a scenic, 1.5 hours south through the Gallatin Canyon.

Last but certainly not least, the Gallatin Valley and surrounding mountains are a perfect home for wildlife enthusiasts.  Whether to simply observe, photograph, or occasionally hunt, the region has a rich variety of biodiversity.  Notable, upland birds, waterfowl, and “big game” species are abundant, but, all creatures great and small comprise an ecosystem in Montana that is truly unique.

Yellowstone Park, the largest National Park in the U.S., has two nearby entrances.  The north entrance at Gardiner and the west entrance at West Yellowstone.  Both of these are less than a two hour drive away.

The community of Bozeman and the surrounding area has a wealth of cultural offerings.  Alone with being a commercial hub, the area boasts numerous fine dining opportunities and shopping in the historic downtown region.  The Valley also offers a wide array of arts events such as the Bozeman Symphony, Bozeman Intermountain Opera, Montana Shakespeare in the Park, Montana Ballet, and Big Sky Music in the Mountains, to name
